Torque Analysis (1 day)

How to analyse torque data as well as introduction to some of the market leading technology – the fundamental principles of human force production and relates them to the specific conditions of upright cycling

Course Outline

Torque Analysis takes the fundamental principles of human force production and relates them to the specific conditions of upright cycling.

There are many ways to look at force production including pedalling smoothness, efficiency, average torque angle and peak torque force. Understanding what these measurements are and how they relate to a cyclist’s ability to create power is essential for using torque analysis to direct bicycle fitting decision making.

Course Outcome

This course seeks to teach the bicycle fitter how to analyse the data as well as introduce them to some of the market leading technology.
